Celebrate Endless War
In January of 1961, the departing President Eisenhower made a speech in which he expressed great concern for the direction of America’s armaments industries after World War II. Eisenhower coined the term "military industrial complex” fearing that the complex could promote a state of endless and perpetual war, as the armament industries continued to profit wildly from warfare.
This is an image that I had been playing with for a couple of years. I love the irony of the woman and child dancing for joy at endless war. Endless war means endless profits.
